About Jake Froccaro


Jake graduated Villanova as the highest MLL draft pick, selected 7th during the 2017 draft by the Chesapeake Bayhawks.  

Jake is the only player in Division I History to hold a single-game scoring record at two schools: 

2014 Princeton vs. Yale 2014 - 10 G

2016 Villanova vs. Penn State - 8G

Jake is the only Princeton midfielder in program history with at least 20 G as a freshman and sophomore. One of eight players in program history to reach 50 goals by sophomore year. 


Finished his collegiate career with 126 Goals, 57 A, 176 GB

Froccaro grew up on Long Island with his three siblings, Jeff, Jackie, and Joey, all of whom played or currently play Division I lacrosse. Older brother, Jeff, was an All-Ivy and All-America attackman at Princeton before graduating in 2013. Sister, Jackie, was a member of the Villanova women's lacrosse team and was the 2015 Big East Attacker of the Year. Younger brother, Joey, is currently a junior on the Villanova men's lacrosse team. 

Cousin Alexa, is a 2x Division II National Champion at Adelphi. Uncles Vinnie (Hofstra, Team USA '82, '86, '90, '94, NY Lizards, NY Saints) and Stephen (C.W. Post, NY Lizards) Sombrotto played lacrosse in college, professionally, and internationally.
